AURELIA ABENA ATTIPOE(Founder)
Aurelia Abena Attipoe founded Pitch Hub after graduating from the University of Ghana with a degree in Computer Science and Statistics. She is also a member of The Lady management team, an initiative that empowers young women in Ghana. She interned with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2018 and will be joining the bank as an employee in 2019. Before her internship, she worked as a Small and Medium Scale Enterprise (SME) Specialist at Busy Internet a 4G LTE service provider in Ghana. Ms Attipoe has always lent her voice and strength to initiatives that empower women and young people, and this led to her being selected as a Diplomat for the 2018 Cohort of the Young Diplomats of Ghana. She is a social activist and an entrepreneur who seeks to transform Africa and the world.
DERRICK EDEM SOSOO(Head of Media and Logistics)
Derrick is a digital skills trainer and Head of Media and Logistics at The Pitch Hub. He is a web developer and a social media manager. He worked as a support facilitator on the Digital Jobs Africa Programme where he helped trained about 1000 trainees over a period of one year. He is a certified Systems Engineer from Intercom Programming Manufacturing Co Ltd (IPMC) and a Google Certified Digital Marketer in Google AdWords. Derrick is currently a student at the University of Ghana studying Computer Engineering.
GLORIA OWUSU-BOAMA(Programmes Director)
Gloria is the Programs Director at The Pitch Hub. She is a final year student at the Ghana Institute of Journalism studying Public Relations and Media Studies. She has worked as a producer at various media houses such as Starr Fm, Media Maxx and Inen Limited. Gloria also worked as a Marketing Executive at Kare International Ghana- a global non-profit organization that fights against social injustice and poverty. Due to her extraordinary work for young people she was selected for the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) at the West African Regional Sector.
Richmond Engel Bennah (Head of Business Development)
Richmond Engel Bennah is a certified Civic Leader from the Young African Leaders Initiative (Emerging Leaders Programme, YALI RLC West Africa). He also holds a certificate in Entrepreneurial Innovation and Research (Adansonia Entrepreneurship Research Project) from Bocconi University, Italy; and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana Business School. Richmond works professionally as a business developer, specializing in data analytics, market research, business intelligence and revenue modeling for SMEs.
In October 2017, Richmond was selected (together with other Ghanaian delegates) to represent Ghana at the first Commonwealth Youth Summit in Malaysia for emerging young global leaders to discuss issues on Climate Policy and Finance, Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Peacebuilding & Global Inequality and Social Cohesion.
Richmond is also an Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing author.
Efua Adadzewa Nunoo (Core Member)
ADU-POKU RICHARD (Core Member)
Adu-Poku is a final year Business Management major at the African Leadership University, Mauritius. Through internships and projects, he has had experiences in Project Management, Venture Capital, Marketing and Sales with companies in Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Cameroon, and Ethiopia. He is passionate about the right utilization of African resources to create shared value for business owners and their communities. At Pitch Hub, he in feeds on strategy and programs.
NANA OKYIR BAIDOO (Core Member)
Nana is an experienced business and investment analyst and serves as a Core Team member of Pitch Hub Ghana. Nana has a portfolio of diverse experience and knowledge across business management, finance and investment, project management as well as development management. He worked at AngloGold Ashanti for 4 years with a variety of responsibilities in agribusiness management and development management from the entry level to lower management level. Subsequently, he has worked at BDI Ghana Ltd, a Management Consulting and Private Equity firm for over a year, setting up the company’s Agribusiness division before being engaged by IGGS, a sustainable development think thank as Senior Consultant and subsequently at Busy Internet as Business Analyst.
Currently, Nana is the Investment Banking Associate at Fincap Securities, a fintech focused private Investment Banking firm, where he is responsible for leading teams in the execution of Corporate Fund Raising and Investment Advisory projects.
Nana holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Finance and Investment as well as a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics. He also has certifications in Securities from the Ghana Stock Exchange, Business Management and Administration from the Institute of Commercial Management, London UK, and Monitoring and Evaluation from the African Centre for Capacity Building.
