Samuel Esson Jonah is the Executive Chairman of Jonah Capital, an equity fund based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was previously President of AngloGold Ashanti. In June 2003 he became the first Ghanaian to be knighted in the 21st century when he was presented with an honorary knighthood by the Prince of Wales in recognition of his achievements as an African businessman, a leading business executive from the Commonwealth and an international public figure.


Isobel Adjoa Acquah is a strategy and transformational development consultant working to expand the leadership capacities of both personal and corporate clients. She is an English qualified lawyer, with legal and investment banking professional experience and brings a wealth of international transactional knowledge, cultural appreciation and corporate discipline to her consulting practice. She chaired the EMEA Multi Cultural Leadership Network at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, promoting diversity and leadership in the workplace and received an award in that capacity. In addition to her legal qualifications, she has a Master’s degree in Inter- Cultural Communication from the University of London. 

Isobel is a consultant (Counsel) at AB & David Law, a business law firm based in Ghana with offices and affiliate firms in 16 African countries. She is also the founder of The Lady, an initiative run in conjunction with Villa Monticello Boutique Hotel to inspire and empower ladies aged 18 to 25


Prince Etornam William Attipoe is the CEO of NewMax Group. Since starting the company with his partners, he has steered NewMax from its inception to a world-class entity that prides itself in growing, investing, and creating businesses that will outlive generations.

His ability to network effortlessly and his interest in building the next great venture has won him enormous achievements in the world of business and an admiration among the youth.

He is the board chairman of the National Disability Awards and serves on the board of Miss Ghana and Miss Ghana Foundation, Aquatork Natural Mineral Water, Rehobothgoshen Fisheries, and Macons LTD.

He holds a leadership degree from The Institute of Regenerative Truth in Israel and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Ghana Telecom University.


Benedicta Lasi is the Head of Corporate Affairs at Woodfields Energy Resources Limited and doubles as the Legal and Business Development Officer of the company. She is also the Founder of Noble Law Group; a law and public policy advocacy think tank. She holds a first degree in Political Science and Sociology as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Ghana. She also holds a Master’s degree in Conflict, Peace and Security and currently a candidate for the Professional Law Course at the Ghana School of Law.

Benedicta has been engaged in the development of a number of start-up businesses as well as youth empowerment projects in Africa. Prior to her current position, she was the International Relations Secretary of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) from 2010 to 2011.


Jacob Paa Kwesi Bart-Plange is in charge of Marketing operations at Airtel Africa HQ in Nairobi. He is also the CEO of JIIBP Solutions a company that provides Telecoms consultancy and Marketing Services. Prior to his current position, he was a salesman in the FMCG industry and joined the telecommunications industry in 2010 as a Marketing professional and has been instrumental in a number of achievements including revenue uplifts, churn management and quality customer growth working with Millicom Ghana Limited (Tigo), Airtel Ghana Limited and Busy Internet Ghana Limited in the areas of analytics, acquisition, device management, Business intelligence, usage and retention. Before he joined Airtel Africa HQ, he worked with Busy Internet Ghana Limited as Head of Marketing. His key areas of focus are Innovation, Customer acquisition & retention and Revenue growth.
